Jasmin Nunes is thrilled to share that her debut short film, Ackee and Saltfish, continues its journey on the international festival circuit, with new selections and announcements on the horizon.

The film celebrated a major milestone as part of the Official Selection of the 69th BFI London Film Festival, which took place 8–19 October 2025, a landmark moment for the film and its team.

Ackee and Saltfish was also honoured to be named an Official Selection of the Manchester Film Festival 2026, marking another exciting chapter in the film's growing festival presence.

"These milestones mean so much," Jasmin shares. "Ackee and Saltfish is a story very close to my heart, and I'm honoured to bring it to audiences across the globe. I look forward to sharing it on festival screens and engaging in the conversations it sparks."

With several more announcements still to come, Jasmin is eager to continue showcasing the film internationally and connecting with the global filmmaking community through each festival appearance.
